Spring dinner date

The spring dinner is set for may 19, 2018. We can start at 5 pm, that way we can visit for a bit. Anyone interested in joining us, the dinner is at bj's restaurant in gaylord, mi. (you have to buy your own dinner & drinks)

by using the cap locks, i am not yelling just my eyes are a bit fuzzy this morning.

Thank you and i look forward to the dinner.

Here is the traditional info about the dinner:

DIRECTIONS and MAP.
https://www.mapquest.com/directions/...728,-84.673876
The restuarant is BJ's in Gaylord and is casual country, so come in your hunting clothes. They have a good buffet and salad bar, as well as a full menu to order from. Reduced children prices. Adult beverages available.

No reservations needed. If you're late? No problem, drop in anyway and say howdy and grab something to eat!
We provide the room and you buy your own dinners. (Please tip well so they will remember us as a good group to serve)

We always have a great time at this dinner. Lot of camaraderie and laughs with people just like yourself.
You know..... almost normal, except for that morel addiction thing.

It's a lot like a family reunion... except you'll like these people!

You'll hear stories, jokes and tales and be able to finally put a face to the person you've been talking with on the morel board. What a great bunch of people! I have met many so far, and am looking forward to meeting even more of you

So don't be shy... come on over and visit with us.

Bring your family and friends!

Re: Spring dinner date

I am coming up north for my yearly trip to my home of Petoskey to hunt s'hrooms. I have never been to the dinner and would like to, coming alone...would I be welcome if I didn't know anyone?

Absolutely! We all were strangers at some point, so don't let that worry you too much.

Greg,
A great many of us have not met in person.
It will be nice to put a face with the names.

Re: Spring dinner date

I felt the same way when I first attended a dinner in 2012. I was alone, and only knew everyone from reading their posts online. I was nervous going there at first, but once I met everyone in person, I felt at ease, and like I was part of the family.
