Is this a half free?

After three hours of searching in Oakland County Michigan yesterday this is all I found.

Unfortunately that looks like a verpa to me. Notice the wavy ridges (not pitted) cut it in half and look for the white cotton/milky interior. Half frees will be completely hollow.

Looks like a verpa to me. The half frees I have found were all pretty tall (probably 5:1 ratio for height to width), that one looks more 1:1.

If you haven't picked it, let it grow, and when it's ready to harvest, cut it in half and post a photo.

For future references, that is Morchella punctipes. A half free morel.
