Family Fun... but no morels

Hiya folks! Itís been a long time since I chatted up this forum but each spring with my family we go out looking. Iím an amateur tree gal so I donít even know what Ash and Elm look like! 😒 We have found a few at a time here and there but only one in maybe four years have we gotten enough to cook. I am trying to learn all I can about mushrooms and the forest as a whole. Iíve been watching a lot of YouTube lately and found this Herbal Jedi guy, Yarrow Willard, in British Columbia, and have learned lots of great ways to enjoy and protect and use the forest. Still hunting for that spot but mostly my husband does the hunting while I play with the toddlers. 😊
Does anyone else live near Alpena?
Happy hunting, yíall!
