How to tell it's Spring

... Purdue is playing in the Sweet 16 and Indiana is sitting at home watching!

(I didn't put this in the Joke section because this is serious business!)

A Hoosier by birth, but a proud Boilermaker by the Grace of God!

How to tell it's Spring in MI?

Look out the window... if your sap bags are blowing sideways and there is white stuff falling from the sky... it is Spring!

Re: How to tell it's Spring

One good thing...these above freezing days, barely getting out of the 30's many days, and the below freezing nights is really good for sap harvesting. And once the trees bud out, the sap will turn bitter, so the cool weather delaying the trees, and keeping the sap flowing is really producing a good sap harvest this year.

I can tell it's spring because of all the potholes everywhere.

On April 12th, the rain brought out the Spring Peepers in Berrien Co. Music to my ears.

I now have Spring Peepers in my pond. Spring is officially here.
(Last year they started calling around February 21, but that was a very unusual year.)

The peepers have gone into hiding, probably down in the water. It is hard to tell it's spring right now in Berrien Co. It is snowing, and there is about an inch of snow on the ground.
